Right, lots of stuff has happened in my little universe since I last updated this bloggy-thingy. Biggest news is – I’ve added my story Trial by Fire to both the Athenaeum and The Academy of Bards.

So far so good. Actually – so far so awesome!! I’ve been getting fan-mail like never before and that, I must say, is pretty darn fun! I love you guys! Each and every one of you who has taken the time out of your day to send me a message… It’s… I love it! Thank you!!

Also, since having been at the Athenaeum, another fun thing has occurred. Trial by Fire was added on August 9th. Some days later, on August 13th, it came out at the number 1 spot on the Top 25-list of most read stories of the week.

Now, that was not something I expected! I got a little medal and everything! Too cool!

In the wake of everything, I have started working on the sequel to Trial by Fire. It is called Retribution by Proxy and can currently only be read here on this site. When it is done it will join TBF on both the Athenaeum and The Academy.

In other news - - I got a new job. Again… I just never can seem to settle down, can I? This one involves GoKarts and it’s looking fun so far. A minus is the hassle of getting there back home again, but you can’t have everything.

Long time, no blog… Again…

So what’s new in my little universe, you might wonder.

Well, firstly, life is keeping me busy and when it isn’t - I’m keeping myself busy. So you can draw the conclusion that I’ve been busy... I’m working on the requested drawings, so if you have been told that you are “on the list” but have yet to see any results – I have not forgotten about you nor am I ignoring you.

I’ve also made two new videos that are up on YouTube. The "Bathroom on the Right"-one was a bet (which I won) and the other, Baby I'm Burning, something that I felt I just had to make. Thankies to Beanie for her help on that one!!

Oh, and get your groaning-hats on! I’ve gotten an idea for a new story… Normally that’s good news, but since I’m already working on three… Well, you get the idea. At least Trial by Fire is nearing its completeness. Just three more chapters to go and it will be done.

Speaking of stories – I’ve got a new Beta! So a big Welcome Aboard to Beanie! She’ll be working alongside Tintin and I’m looking forward to our collaboration.

As some of you know, Tin is from the UK and I was taught British, so with adding Beanie, who is based in the US, to the team I’m hoping the stories will sound more “natural”. Can’t have a bunch of Americans running around spelling things in British, now can we. Well, we can, but it seems a bit off, if you know what I mean.

I’m endlessly grateful to have them both!!

Time sure flies by when you don’t want it to! I’m in the last stages of this semester’s school-work, and I’ve got one final in geography to take care of and two papers in philosophy to finish. I have neither started on the papers nor begun studying for the final… Deadline is on Monday and the final in two days.

What the hell went wrong??

Silly question, really. I know precisely what went wrong. And I blame Ellen. No, I don’t, but I seem to live by one of the things she said once; “Procrastinate now, don’t put it off.” Hmm, yeah… Gold medallist – right here!!

I suppose all this could effortlessly have been done had I not been so damn easily distracted, but I know me and that’s an explanation in itself. I just find other things more fun and therefore do them instead. I know – Time to grow up! Did I mention I wanted to be a kid when I grew up??

I’m actually going away for the weekend, leaving in about an hour (note to self – Go pack!), so I will miss my geography final. I’m hoping I can plead my way into taking it later. Why the teacher set it in the middle of a very well-known “holiday”, where people usually skip town, is beyond me. Oh, well. I’ve known about things going to hell for quite some time now, so I’ll be focusing on getting those papers done for now. At least the philosophy final is over and done with. And I think I did okay on it, considering.

Best be running now. Gotta pack, and all…

It’s been a while since I posted a blog here… There are several reasons for that. One being lack of time, another – I have the most stubborn cold I’ve had in years. Started with passing, albeit high, fever about a week and a half ago, and when that cleared up within a day I figured I was as good as new.

Wrong!

The fever was during the afternoon replaced by a throbbing headache, two nearly deaf ears, a nose so stuffy I could not breathe through it for the life of me and a throat so sore I could hardly swallow. All this bundled up with me losing my voice. *Oh, whipped-cream-with-a-cherry-on-top Joy!*

This was, of course, during the same weekend that my parents went off to Rome for a few days. Life seemed unfair at that point.

Then again – there are those who have it *much* worse every single day so I almost feel bad for having the nerve to complain about it.

Oh, well.

It’s weird. You’d think that you staying at home all day for a week would not only clear up the cold but also give you time to catch up on things you’ve neglected.

Wrong again!

I am further behind on *everything* than I’ve ever been and that’s a bit stressing. The stress, in turn, makes it more difficult to catch up. I’m seeing an evil circle here.

And yet I dare whine about it. I should just shut the fuck up and be grateful that I’m alive.
